- Are Shine Bakehouse baking mixes Kosher?
- All of our products are Orthodox Union (OU) Kosher Certified: all pancake and muffin mixes are “OU-D” (OU-Dairy) Certified. Our Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cooke, and No-Bake Bar Mixes are OU Certified.
- Are your products Non-GMO?
- Yes, all Shine Bakehouse baking mixes are Non-GMO.
- Can I use a product beyond the "best by" date?
- We do not recommend you consume a product past the Best By date.
- Where are Shine Bakehouse products made?
- All Shine Bakehouse products are made at the Custom Bakehouse manufacturing facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Custom Bakehouse is an OU Kosher facility, Organic Certified facility, Certified Gluten Free Protocol, and a Licensed Milk Products Dairy plant.
- Is there a recipe for richer pancakes using your pancake mixes?
- Yes. You will need 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 1/2 cup of milk, and 1 cup + 1 tablespoon of Shine Bakehouse Buttermilk or Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg, then whisk in the melted butter until blended. Add the milk, then the pancake mix and whisk until smooth. Cook pancakes as directed on the package.
