But their sweetness can be deceiving: They pack eight grams of plant-based protein, stacking up to a treat that's both satisfying and divine. Made with stone-ground whole wheat flour. No artificial flavors, synthetic colors or preservatives and no hydrogenated oils.

Ingredients

Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour, Organic Wheat Flour, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (Cane Sugar, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter), Buttermilk, Cane Sugar, Wheat Protein, Cream of Tartar, Flaxseed Meal, Baking Soda, Natural Flavor, Organic Canola Oil, Sea Salt CONTAINS: Wheat and Milk. This product is prepared and packaged using equipment that may come in contact with Egg, Soy, Tree Nuts (Pecans, Coconut, Almonds), Sesame.

Directions

Preheat griddle over medium-low heat.
Measure and level off pancake mix. (Do not pack.)

Place pancake mix in a medium bowl, gradually whisk in milk or water. If batter is too thick, add 1 teaspoon milk or water. If batter is too thin, add 1-2 teaspoons of pancake mix.

Lightly oil griddle.
Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle for each pancake.
Cook until light golden brown (about 2 minutes).
Flip pancakes over and cook until light golden brown on bottom (about 1 more minute).

Waffles
Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions. Prepare batter as directed above for pancakes. Pour 1/2 cup batter in center of waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
