Cherries and chocolate chips are a match made in heaven. These scrumptious scones have it all: the sweet, tart flavor of dried cherries and enough chocolate chips to satisfy even the most passionate chocoholic. Best of all, these scones are Just Add Water! 

Ingredients

Unbleached Enriched Flours (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Sugar, Vegetable Oil [Canola Oil (Ascorbic Acid and Rosemary added to preserve freshness) and/or Sunflower Oil], Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (Sugar, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin, Vanilla Extract), Buttermilk, Palm Oil, Dried Bing Cherries, Baking Powder [(Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Baking Soda, Cornstarch, Monocalcium Phosphate) leavening], Salt, Natural Flavor, Baking Soda (leavening). CONTAINS: Wheat, Milk, Soy. This product is prepared and packaged using equipment that may come in contact with Egg, Tree Nuts (Pecans, Coconut, Almonds), Sesame.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Lightly grease baking sheet pan, line with parchment paper, or use wedge-shaped scone pan.

In bowl, add water to mix and stir with fork until combined and sticky dough forms. If dough seems dry, add additional water 1 teaspoon at a time.

Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (10-12) about 3" apart onto prepared pan.

For triangle shaped scones, shape by hand into triangle or if using a wedge-shaped pan, drop even mounds of dough into each cavity and spread into triangle shape.

Bake 14-16 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden on top.

Smells Fabulous

Bought 8 different mixes, this one smells absolutely delicious and tastes the same. Perfect with tea or coffee.

A favorite

This is one of my favorite flavors of the scone mixes. I can't resist the chocolate and cherry combination. We, hubby and I, both love all the flavors we have tried. But this is special!

Could not keep them in the house

I received the mixes on one day and made the first mix a couple days later. Made 12 scones, and they were devoured in less than an hour! I made the second mix the next week and they were gone just as quickly. I have to get more of this mix, my family LOVES it.

Delicious, easy

First time ordering from Sticky Fingers. Could only find one flavor-blueberry- in my grocery, so I ordered on line. Easy, order came quickly, and tried the Cherry Chocolate Chip for the first time. They came out beautifully! Delicious. I add a homemade glaze to the top once they cooled, but you really don't need it. These are great both ways!
